Crafting an effective proposal can be a time-consuming process, but Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT, can speed up the process by helping you brainstorm ideas, generate text, and rephrase your wording. 

To strengthen your proposal, we will guide you through the building blocks of an effective AI prompt. 

The format of your presentation can greatly influence its effectiveness, affecting the level of audience engagement and message memorability. To help you select the best format to enhance your presentation, we have listed key characteristics of each one.

Members of the UC community (UC staff, faculty, and students) are welcome to submit a proposal. Vendors and sponsors may also submit a proposal as part of a UC team session. One or more proposals may be submitted, as an individual or jointly with your team or other colleagues.  

Since the UC Tech 2024, Collaboration for Transformation, proposal online submission form is now available, we have compiled a list of best practices to help you create a stellar proposal that is engaging, effective, and exciting!

Each year, collaboration across multiple teams has been crucial to the creation of a successful UC Tech Annual Conference.

Among these teams are the UC Tech Ambassadors: colleagues from each of the 10 UC campuses, as well as the Office of the President (UCOP), who provide support to the hosting campus, beginning months in advance of the conference.

This year’s UC Tech Annual Conference is unique because the event will be held in two historically significant cities, Davis and Sacramento, both intertwined with California’s past.

October, the month of the conference, is the perfect time to visit as the fall season transforms the foliage into a vibrant display of warm hues. We are excited to welcome you to these cities, and have provided a list of must-visit destinations to make your trip worthwhile.

 On January 18, 2024, over 65 volunteers for the upcoming UC Tech Annual Conference in October held the planning kick-off meeting — in-person on campus and over Zoom — to discuss conference details and volunteer committee plans. This is a major milestone in project planning!

Mark your calendars – the three-day event will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Sacramento, and on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 in Davis.
