On Sunday, October 27, get ready for an exciting evening in Sacramento to kick-off this year’s UC Tech, connect with fellow attendees, and eat delicious food! We will have a welcome reception from 5 – 8 p.m. at the UC Davis Health Betty Irene Moore Hall.

To make travel easy for our attendees staying in Davis, we will have six buses going between UC Davis and UC Davis Health, both before and after the welcome reception. Note that the bus service is only available on Sunday.

We've talked a lot about the engaging sessions happening at the 2024 UC Tech Annual Conference, but there is even more fun to be had! Thanks to the planning efforts of our UC Tech Activities Committee, we have a variety of activities for you to participate in.

The 2024 UC Tech Annual Conference is delighted to introduce our two keynote speakers for this year’s event, both of whom are incredible thought leaders and educators from the University of California, Davis.

The 2024 UC Tech Annual Conference will be a three-day event held in Sacramento and Davis. Therefore, where should you book your hotel?

Both cities offer fantastic experiences and where you choose to stay will depend on your preferences. Here are several things to consider before making your decision.

Because Day 2 and Day 3 of the conference are in Davis, we recommend staying in Davis for convenience. Doing so also means you avoid rush-hour traffic on the Yolo Causeway that connects the two cities together. 

Putting together a program as enriching and organized as the UC Tech Annual Conference takes a group effort. Our UC Tech Planning Committees have been hard at work getting ready for the 42nd UC Tech, which is now less than five months away!

With a wide range of presentations, panels, and engaging discussions, this three-day program — held on October 27-29 at the Sacramento and Davis campuses — offers something for everyone!

Crafting an effective proposal can be a time-consuming process, but Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT, can speed up the process by helping you brainstorm ideas, generate text, and rephrase your wording. 

To strengthen your proposal, we will guide you through the building blocks of an effective AI prompt. 

The format of your presentation can greatly influence its effectiveness, affecting the level of audience engagement and message memorability. To help you select the best format to enhance your presentation, we have listed key characteristics of each one.

Members of the UC community (UC staff, faculty, and students) are welcome to submit a proposal. Vendors and sponsors may also submit a proposal as part of a UC team session. One or more proposals may be submitted, as an individual or jointly with your team or other colleagues.
